The elegant and modern design of the tile designed and painted by the artist Athos Bulcão is reproduced in this napkin holder. This piece has production and sales authorization from the Athos Bulcão Foundation.
Made with reforested Amazonian wood and high density acrylic in the colors blue, white and black, this napkin holder pays homage to the work of Athos Bulcão. The church Nossa Senhora de Fátima, also known as Igrejinha (Little Church), was the first Catholic temple built in masonry in Brasília, inaugurated on June 28th, 1958. Designed by Oscar Niemayer, it was also Athos Bulcão's first work for the capital.
It is a Catholic temple consisting of a small nave, sacristy and secretariat, with a horseshoe-shaped floor plan. The reinforced concrete structure is defined by three pillars with triangular longitudinal section that support the roof slab, giving it the shape of a nun's hat. The external walls are completely covered with the tiles created by Athos Bulcão. This panel is Athos' only figurative work in tiles, with the dove representing the Holy Spirit and the star, the Star of Bethlehem that guided the Magi to the baby Jesus.
Because it is a handmade natural product, the color, drawing, and nuance of the wood may vary.

High quality | We use Amazon reforestation wood - one of the strongest and lightest woods - to make our napkin holders.
Durable | The acrylic on top of the wood is high density, as durable as the reforested wood. The acrylic pieces are glued with a high-strength adhesive. However, the napkin holder must be used and stored with care to avoid detachment of the pieces.
Safety | Due to the natural oils and treatment given to the wood, our napkin holders are naturally resistant to bacteria.
