This wonderful napkin holder reproduces another carioca symbol: the Boardwalk de Ipanema. Considered one of the greatest representatives of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and in the world, the panema Boardwalk can be seen in magazines, movies, and advertisements. 

The Ipanema Boardwalk, as we know it today, was built in the 1960s by the architect and landscape designer Renato Primavera Marinho in honor of the 400th anniversary of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Located between Ipanema beach and Vieira Souto Avenue, the Ipanema Boardwalk is always full of people strolling along its beautiful Portuguese stones.

Durable | The acrylic on top of the wood is high density, as durable as the reforested wood. The acrylic pieces are glued with a high-strength adhesive. However, the napkin holder must be used and stored with care to avoid detachment of the pieces. 

Safe | Due to the natural oils and treatment given to the wood, our napkin holders are naturally resistant to bacteria.
